What Tri-Gig is

One place a small business or a nonprofit runs from, set up to your business and written in plain words.

Tri-Gig is a workspace. It holds your customers, your work, your money and the people outside your team, and it is built to the kind of business you run rather than to a template somebody else designed. A nonprofit sees Donors and Volunteers. A photographer sees Shoots and Packages. A tutor sees Students and Lessons.

Everything in it is a list: a list of customers, a list of projects, a list of invoices, and any list you add for the things your business keeps track of. A thing in a list is a record, and the pieces of information on a record are its details. That is the whole vocabulary.

What comes with every workspace

  • Customers, projects, tasks, cases and invoices, named in your words.
  • A calendar, messages, files and a team directory.
  • Live Invoices: an invoice that is a web page, reminds the customer, and takes card payment into your own account.
  • Money & health: six plain questions about your money, answered from your invoices and the papers you upload.
  • Rules: when this happens, do that, written in plain words.
  • Trig: an assistant that watches for mistakes, puts them back, and does what you ask.
  • A door for the people outside your team: portals, a booking page, documents to sign, a landing page that collects leads.

Every feature is on every plan. The plans differ by how many people are on your team, how much file space you have, and how many conversations with Trig are included each month. See Plans and billing.

Tip:Any change by anyone, including Trig, is kept with what it looked like before, and one click puts it back. Deleted files are kept for 90 days. See Undo a change.
