Ask someone, and Flow Questions

Where a rule waits for a person.

An Ask someone step puts a short form in front of a person: short or long answers, numbers, dates, a choice, a tick box, yes/no, or approve/decline. Up to twenty fields. The rule waits, then carries on with their answers available to later steps.

Who can be asked

  • A particular teammate.
  • Whoever owns the record that started the rule.
  • Whoever set the rule off.
  • Anyone on the team: unassigned, first to pick it up.
  • The outside person the record is about, who answers in their portal.

Flow Questions

The question appears under Flow Questions in the sidebar for the person it went to, and they are notified. An unanswered question is chased once, after the time you set on the step. Approvals on an invoice or a signature request appear on the same page.

Did this answer it? If not, write to support@trigig.com or open Help inside your workspace. A person replies within one business day.
