Typed figures and trackers

Rent, payroll, cash in the bank, or a list that counts itself every month.

  • Type a figure: press Add next to a panel, pick the metric (revenue, costs, cash, tax set aside, an asset), the month and the amount. A typed figure beats a document for that month.
  • Liabilities: loans, cards, tax and bills with balance, rate, payment and next due date. Paid ones can be marked off.
  • Trackers: monthly numbers with a target, such as rent, payroll, cash or new clients. A tracker can count or add up one of your lists each month, so a Jobs list with a price detail becomes revenue without typing.
  • Expected on: on any unpaid invoice, the date you expect it, which overrides the averages in the 13-week outlook.
  • The 13-week outlook: unpaid invoices on the dates customers usually pay, plus recurring costs and debt payments, and the first week you would run short.
  • The goal: an amount to collect, or a number of new customers, with progress on your home page.
