Your booking page
Services, hours and deposits on a page people book from, with reminders and texts.
Switch on Booking under Workspace settings, Add-ons. Photography and tutoring setups have it on from day one with two services already there.
Set up what can be booked
- Open Booking and add a service: name, description, length, price, an optional deposit, which teammate, how much notice you need, how far ahead people can book, a buffer between appointments, a location, and any questions to ask.
- Set your weekly hours. A day can have several rows, so a break is a gap. Add days off.
- Copy the link from the page: trigig.com/p/<your handle>/book. Put it in your email signature, on your website, or on a landing page. Your handle is set in Lead Studio, Settings.
What happens on a booking
- The person picks a service and a time in their own time zone, answers your questions, pays the deposit if there is one (your Stripe account), and can agree to texts.
- A customer is made or matched by email. The appointment goes on your calendar and into the list you chose (Shoots, Lessons, Appointments). A rule makes a task to prepare.
- They get an email confirmation and a reminder the day before, by text too if they agreed, with a link to change or cancel.
- Two people cannot book the same slot; the database refuses the second.
Afterwards
From the Booking page mark each appointment Came, No-show or Cancelled. A new booking can start a rule ("when a booking comes in, add it to Shoots").
