Calls and Snap Notes

Two lists every workspace has. A photo of the notes by the phone becomes calls with a next step.

Calls is the list of calls to make and calls that came in: who, a number, what it is about, and when to call by. Snap Notes is for everything else you would have written on a sticky note. Both are in every workspace from the first day, under their own names in the sidebar, and both link to any record: a contact, a project, a matter, an event.

From a photo, in the phone app#

  1. Open the Tri-Gig Workspaces app and press Snap. Take a photo of the notes, or pick one from your camera roll.
  2. Each line with a phone number, or starting with "call" or "cb", becomes a draft call: the words before the number are who, the rest is what about. "Fri", "tomorrow" or a date sets when to call by. A bulleted list makes one draft per item; a page with no calls becomes one note, with its first line as the title.
  3. Review the drafts, fix anything the photo got wrong, and press Save. Up to forty calls and forty notes per save.

A new name becomes a contact (with the source "snap"), so the call and the person are linked from the start. On the web, add a call or a note from its list like any other record.

From an email#

Every workspace has a forwarding address under Workspace settings, Integrations. Forward an inquiry to it and it becomes a row in Calls with the sender as the contact.

Tip:Calls and Snap Notes export with everything else, and a flow can start when a call is added or changed.
