How do customers and volunteers do their part?

Connect Slack

The things that matter to the business post to a channel you choose.

Open Workspace settings, then Integrations, and press Connect Slack. Slack shows an Allow screen for your Slack workspace; approve it and you come back to Tri-Gig.

Type the channel you want in the box that appears (for example #general or #sales) and press Save. Then press Send a test. If Slack says the Tri-Gig app is not in the channel, open that channel in Slack, type /invite @Tri-Gig, and send the test again.

From then on these post to the channel, once each: a new lead from a landing page, a booking, an invoice at risk or a customer asking for a payment option, a new case, an approval waiting on someone, and a new teammate joining. Each message links back to the thing in Tri-Gig.

Rules can send their own Slack messages too: in Automation Studio, add the step "Send Slack message" and write what it should say. It uses the channel you chose unless the step names another.

Tri-Gig only posts to the channel you picked. It does not read your Slack messages. To stop, press Disconnect on the Integrations page.

Did this answer it? If not, write to support@trigig.com or open Help inside your workspace. A person replies within one business day.
