This Privacy Policy explains how Tri-Gig LLC (“Tri-Gig,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit trigig.com or any related application or service (collectively, the “Service”).

Account & Profile Data — name, email, phone, photo, location (state/ZIP), professional headline, skills, résumé details.
Transactional Data — project budgets, deposits, payouts, subscription tier, Stripe customer IDs.
Usage & Device Data — log files, IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, click-stream, referring URLs.
Communications — messages, feedback, support tickets, survey responses.
Cookies & Similar Tech — first-party and third-party cookies, local storage, pixels, and analytics identifiers.

3. How We Use Information

Provide, operate, and secure the Service.
Process payments, escrow releases, and tax documents.
Match Clients with Providers and Closers based on profiles.
Verify identity and conduct quality or compliance checks.
Send transactional notices, feature updates, and—if you opt in—marketing emails (you can unsubscribe any time).
Analyze usage to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

While Tri-Gig currently serves U.S. users only, we process personal data under one or more of the following bases: (i) performance of a contract, (ii) legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention and product improvement), (iii) your consent, and (iv) compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell your personal data. We share it only:

With payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle billing and payouts.
With service providers that help us host, secure, or analyze the Service—bound by confidentiality obligations.
With other users as needed to facilitate a Project (e.g., your profile to Clients).
When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets) with appropriate safeguards.

We use cookies and similar tools for sign-in persistence, security, and analytics. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser or our cookie banner; essential cookies are required for core functionality.

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward (typically seven years) to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any privacy-related dispute is subject to the arbitration and governing-law provisions in our Terms of Service, except that you may file claims in small-claims court where permissible.
