How do I get paid, and know where I stand?

Reminders, more time, and settlements

Decide once what happens when an invoice goes quiet.

Reminders go out on their own: three days before the due date, then 1, 7 and 14 days after. On any invoice you can change the schedule, turn it off, or press Send a reminder now.

On the invoice page your customer can ask for more time (7, 14 or 30 days, whichever you allow), take a reduced amount if you have offered one, or write you a note. You get a notification and approve with one click. An extension moves the due date and rebuilds the reminders.

Each unpaid invoice has a risk level based on how that customer usually pays. On the invoice, under what happens when it goes quiet, choose: tell me, offer a discount automatically at a percentage you set, or both.

If you want somebody to approve an invoice before it goes out, press Ask for approval next to Send. The invoice cannot be sent until they say yes.
