How do I keep track of things?

Customers, projects, tasks and cases

What the built-in lists are for.

  • Customers: the people and organisations you work with, under whatever word you use. A record holds their details, the projects and invoices linked to them, notes and files.
  • Projects: a list of goals, each a list of steps. Every step has an owner, a date, a checklist, files and comments. Open the board to see steps by stage.
  • Tasks: your to-do list and your team's. A task can be linked to a customer, a project, an invoice or any record. Overdue tasks show on your home page.
  • Cases: requests and problems you need to track to a close, with a type, a priority and an owner. Routing rules can assign them for you.
  • Team: everyone in the workspace, with any details you add (an emergency contact, a certification).

Every record has comments with @mentions and an activity trail, and any change can be undone.
